Abdominal Therapy

Abdominal Therapy is gentle, precise hands on work for the abdomen, back, hips and pelvis, rooted in the teachings of Dr Rosita Arvigo and the traditional Maya healing lineage of Don Elijio Panti.

Working with the organs, muscles and fascia of the abdomen, pelvis and spine, the treatment aims to support circulation, lymphatic flow, nerve function, digestion and reproductive health, helping the body move towards its natural state of balance. Working deeply with the diaphragm can also encourage a fuller, deeper breath and greater ease throughout the body.

Education and self care are at the heart of Abdominal Therapy. Understanding your own body can deepen your awareness and give you practical tools to support your wellbeing between treatments. You will be taught Your Abdominal Massage (YAM), a simple self care practice you can continue at home.

Your treatment may also include complementary practices such as castor oil packs, faja wrapping and vaginal steaming, where appropriate. These practices offer further ways to care for and connect with your body between treatments and can become part of an ongoing self care practice.

Vaginal Steaming

Vaginal steaming is a gentle form of herbal hydrotherapy where warm, steam infused with herbs rises around the vulva and perineum. The warmth encourages blood flow to the tissues of the pelvis, while the herbs bring their plant properties into the experience, creating a deeply nourishing and relaxing practice.

Used alongside Abdominal Therapy, steaming can support circulation, tissue health and pelvic wellbeing. The warmth helps soften and relax the tissues, while supporting the natural tone and function of the pelvic organs. It is also a beautiful opportunity to slow down, rest and connect with this often neglected part of the body.

Your first session begins with a Peristeam Hydrotherapy Consultation where we explore your menstrual cycle, reproductive health and individual needs. You’ll be guided through the steaming process and shown how to continue safely at home using an appropriate organic herbal blend and simple steam sauna setup.

Steaming may be supportive for menstrual and pelvic wellbeing, postpartum recovery and the transition through perimenopause and menopause. It can be enjoyed as a one off session or, where appropriate, as part of monthly care alongside Abdominal Therapy.

The aim is not simply to receive a treatment, but to learn a practice you can return to for yourself.

Fertility Awareness

Fertility Awareness is a way of learning to read the natural signs your body gives you throughout your menstrual cycle. By observing cervical mucus, basal body temperature and cervical position, you can begin to understand when you are fertile, when you are not, and what your cycle is telling you about your reproductive health.

You will be taught the Sympto-Thermal Method, a structured approach to Fertility Awareness that combines these signs to identify the fertile and infertile phases of your cycle. When practised correctly and consistently, some researched Sympto-Thermal protocols have reported up to 99.4% effectiveness in avoiding pregnancy. This can be an option for women looking for an alternative to hormonal birth control, as well as those hoping to conceive or understand their cycle more deeply.

Sessions are practical and personalised. You’ll learn what to observe, how to record your signs and, importantly, how to interpret the patterns your own body is showing you.

Fertility Awareness is about so much more than knowing when you are fertile. By learning to observe and interpret your cycle, you can gain valuable insight into your menstrual and reproductive health, recognise patterns that may warrant further investigation, and identify areas where your body may need additional support. It is a way of learning the language of your own body, deepening your understanding of your health and making informed choices about your wellbeing, fertility and contraception.

There are two ways to work together: a one-off Fertility Awareness Strategy Session for focused, personalised guidance around your cycle and fertility goals, or a 1:1 programme over 4 – 6 months for deeper learning, ongoing support and guidance as you build confidence in observing and interpreting your own fertility signs.

Intuitive Touch Massage

A space to slow down, soften and come home to yourself.

Sometimes, what we need most is to stop doing, take a breath and allow ourselves to be cared for.

Intuitive Touch Massage is a nurturing, responsive form of bodywork that invites you to step out of your head and reconnect with your body. Through gentle, intentional touch, space is created for you to slow down, release the weight of the day and settle into a deeper sense of rest.

Each treatment is guided by your needs in the moment, drawing on Swedish massage, yoga and Abdominal Therapy. With soothing touch, a relaxing playlist and the option of essential oils, we allow the body time to soften and drop in.

This is a treatment for the woman who feels stretched thin, carries tension in her body, or longs for time that is entirely her own. It can also be a beautiful way to reconnect with yourself during times of change, including pregnancy, postpartum and the transitions of womanhood.

Intuitive Touch Massage offers a gentle introduction to the wider work offered under this banner, at your own pace and in your own time.

Come as you are. Take a breath. Let yourself be held.

Period Positivity Workshops

Empowering girls to understand their bodies, embrace their cycles and grow with confidence.

These 3 hour workshops are for girls aged 9-13 and their caregivers to attend together, creating a welcoming space to explore puberty, periods and the changes that come with growing up.

Through practical activities, open conversation and plenty of time for questions, we’ll explore what happens during the menstrual cycle, how hormones influence our bodies and emotions, and how to care for ourselves throughout the different stages of the cycle.

The aim is to replace uncertainty and embarrassment with understanding, confidence and curiosity, helping young people feel prepared for their first period and beyond, while giving caregivers the knowledge and confidence to support them along the way.
