One-to-one Soundbath
Jhoana Serna offers Sound Bath Meditations to individuals and groups. A Sound Bath is a gentle and relaxing meditative experience where you are bathed by a medley of sound. It is a perfect introduction to meditating as you do not need experience – just your breath, an open heart and mind.
Jhoana trained as a counsellor over 15 years ago and combines the psychological ‘understanding of self’ with meditation, spirituality and plant/flower modalities. She works with people where they are in their own journey and works with people of all faiths and none.
Spiritual development
If it’s spiritual development you’re after, then Bec Edwards is the practitioner for you, offering support in this area as well as card reading.
Children, teens and young adults
If it’s your child, teen or young adult that needs support, again we have a range of practitioners.
Deborah Lane specialises in working with children, adolescents, young people (aged 4-25), and their families. With over 10 years’ experience, Deborah offers a warm, friendly and compassionate approach, working collaboratively with children and young people to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. She draws upon a range of creative arts and play resources which can be used to facilitate communication beyond the constraints of language so that difficulties and inner conflicts can be expressed, witnessed, and understood in developmentally appropriate and paced ways.
Deborah works with a broad range of presentations including anxiety, school avoidance, OCD, depression, low-mood, emotional regulation, trauma, bereavement, family separation, attachment difficulties, low self-esteem, eco- and climate anxiety, self-harm and disordered eating. You can contact Deborah via email, deblanetherapy@gmail.com.
And both Deborah Parker and Kayleigh Waters work with children, teens and young people.
Other options
Don’t forget there are a range of other options too – acupuncture, for instance, can help with a range of mental and emotional problems, especially if you can’t or don’t want to talk about them, Kinesiology can help identify imbalances and sometimes we need help to relax and massage or reflexology can help. We also have Pilates, Tai-robics and Elegance and Flow adult ballet classes in our studio as well as our weekly drop in meditation, monthly sound bath meditation and melodic meditation as well as a host of one off events and talks that can be found on our What’s On When calendar.
