Lucy is a qualified Naturopathic Herbalist and Iridologist, having studied for 5 years at The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London.
Growing up Yorkshire fostered her appreciation for the natural environment, leading to her deep connection with plants and sharing many years of ‘potion making’ with her sister was the perfect foundation!
With a background as a Cordon Bleu chef from The Tante Marie School of Cookery in 1989, Lucy gained diverse experience in London and abroad emphasising nutritious meals. An enthusiastic gardener for over 30 years, she has passionately tended to her garden, cultivating herbs and vegetables for her family and home apothecary.
Qualifying as a Yoga Instructor in 1997, Lucy taught in London for 4 years before moving to Sussex where she continues to teach a flowing vinyasa practice with a great emphasis on Yin yoga.
Lucy’s lifelong passion for Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy led her to pursue her dream of becoming a Herbalist. Expanding on her knowledge over the years with Neal’s Yard Remedies and later at The College of Naturopathic Medicine, integrating her beliefs and deeply ingrained principles.

About your consultation:
Your initial consultation will be approximately 1hr 30 minutes, giving the opportunity to take a full case history, including details about your lifestyle, diet, emotional health and current state of well-being. Any medications and treatments you may be on will be taken into consideration.
In addition, Lucy will employ naturopathic diagnostic techniques (pulse-taking, tongue examination, and iridology) to further support the diagnosis, creating your individual herbal medicine prescription and naturopathic treatment plan.
Approximately 3-4 weeks later a follow-up appointment lasting 45 minutes will assess your progress and adjust treatments as needed. Subsequent monthly appointments will be scheduled based on the intensity and duration of your condition.
