Susan is a registered homeopath with 15 years’ experience in treating the root causes of illness and in promoting lifelong wellness. She qualified in 2011 at The South Downs School of Homeopathy in Chichester.
Susan’s dissertation was titled ‘Pandemic flu; Has there ever been a better case for using homeopathy?’. It presents overwhelming evidence of how homeopathy had a vast, positive affect on the outcome of symptoms during the 1918 ‘Spanish’ flu pandemic. It also illustrates how effectively homeopathy works acutely, as well as in chronic cases.
Susan is a strong advocate for homeopathy not only as an alternative, but also as complementary to conventional medicine, working alongside it, especially in long term conditions where homeopathy can improve quality of life.
Susan maintains Continued Professional Development through membership with the Society of Homeopaths and with the Centre for Homeopathic Education. Added to this has been the completion of Levels 2 and 3 in counselling.
A small cross-section of examples where she has found patients responded well include those with diverticular disease, shingles, glandular fever, dermatitis, age-related cognitive decline, panic attacks and anxiety.
Her own empowering experience of homeopathy began with the recovery from year-long daily post-natal headaches and involves using homeopathy to support her own family over the last decade and a half, particularly now her son has been diagnosed with coeliac disease, finding that homeopathic remedies have aided in the reduction of symptoms, both mental and physical.
