Sing for Peace
Zoe runs group singing sessions at the Centre, 11am to 12 noon, first and third Sundays of the month (not August or December). There’s no need to come every time, no audition, no sheet music, no such thing as a wrong note, just an opportunity for us to get together and sing. Our aim is to promote peace (inner and outer) and we sing songs inspired by nature and the desire for community and connection.
‘The effect of sound is unquestionably powerful, with a remarkable ability to heal and restore balance from the inside.’ Jonathan Goldman
Singing together can soothe the nervous system, calm our breathing and cultivate a sense of peace. Physicists and mystics agree that everything vibrates, so everything has a sound, whether or not we can hear it. Communal singing is embedded in the traditions of almost every culture; our bodies are more than half water and our cells vibrate to the sound of the human voice.
Sing for Peace gatherings are free of charge (donations towards room hire and running costs are welcome but not necessary). We are an open and inclusive group so whatever your age, sound, background, ability, identity or experience, you are welcome.

BACP Community Network Meetings
Zoe facilitates quarterly BACP meetings at the Centre to enable local therapists to get together in person and share ideas and experiences with a view to strengthening our practice and sense of community.
Meetings are open to all BACP members (students welcome) and each one counts for 1.5 hours of CPD.
